Hi Everyone! I am back with a tech review. Yeah basically, I will review all that I have for you in store. I want to share and make you all aware to a bit of what I have. So this review is a huge upgrade to your very own everyday used feature. It is available on all smartphones and also is used everyday, yes, it is Google keyboard. Although the update is not much known about by many due to a busy life and some not much interested as they think a keyboard is usable that's it and don't expect more from it. So I have put all the problems to end in this review and made a bit easier for you all. Now you just need to read it and follow the instructions below. Also the pictures would help you understand that you are not going wrong. I know I have made a long intro so let's get to the review.
- Go to google keyboard, then go to preferences, then in themes, you can select material light, that is, white keyboard or you can select material dark, that is black.
- Now in the same preferences you'll see show key border, just below themes. After turning it on you'll see borders between every keys.
- After that, there is also one handed keyboard now. You can use one handed keyboard by simply enabling it. In preferences you'll see one handed keyboard, by selecting right handed mode or left handed mode as per your convenience you can acess one handed typing experience. You can simply long press the enter or the comma key on your keyboard and swipe right or left whichever you want, for one handed use. To exit or expand to full keyboard, click on the four outward arrows sign to make it full size again.
- Also you can change the size of the keyboard by clicking on keyboard height in the preferences option. A dialog box appears by which can adjust from short to normal or tall.
- Now you can also scroll on words to correct a letter in the word by removing or adding words by moving your finger back and forth, sideways, on space bar, in the keyboard.
- Similarly, you can select words by dragging your finger over the words you want to select, by back or erasing words key towards letters.
- Also now you can delete words that you don't want in the predictive text that comes above the keyboard. Long press on the word you want to delete and drag up to the delete icon that shows above that word.
- Now the last one is the number keypad as you click on last, on the left corner smiley, signs and number button, and then on numbers button, you get direct access to full number keypad and also scroll to signs (+, -, * and more ) alongsides to it. Same way you get full smiley keypad on clicking over smiley button on right.
- Also now you can delete words that you don't want in the predictive text that comes above the keyboard. Long press on the word you want to delete and drag up to the delete icon that shows above that word.
