Hi everyone!! Today I am going to give reviews on the Lakme lip love lip balms. The old ones were very waxy and had lousy packaging of the sticks. Though, it is my personal view on the product. I would love to share my views on this reinvented chap sticks or lip balms.
Product : Lakme lip love.
Packaging : It has card board n plastic outer cover and inside stick is a good plastic material used to make the stick. It's is retractable. And has a good sturdy case. The lid is also good doesn't come off easily. It's lid is transparent and has a logo of the collection that is lip love over it. And the bottom is colorful respective to the shades like tangerine or orange shade has a similar coloured bottom and so on respectively.
Price : ₹ 200
Ingredients : SPF15 ( it says has just that )
Claims : It just claims it has SPF15 and a creamy core that is moisturising. Doesn't claim anything else.
Shade : Tangerine (orange) , raspberry (berry pink), black currant (purple).
Quality and Quantity : It gives 3.8 g of product in each stick of lip love. The lip balm comes in three beautiful shades. It's plastic lid is not flimsy as it was before.

They were in vanilla, cherry, and strawberry shades with whitish , red and light pink in colour. Now coming to the new version of upgraded lip balms launched with different new shades. The new shades launched are suitable for Indian skin tone. The new shades are so gorgeous and looks even better on the lips. These balm are glossy and smooth. These lip balms have a tint of colour. The Tangerine shade is warm and orangish which looks absolutely great on light to medium skin tone. The rasberry shade which is pinkish berry colour, and looks dark on the lips then on your hand. As your lip has a little pinkish pigments too. The darkest is black currant shade which is purple but as it is a sheer colour it looks fabulous on the lips. The raspberry and black currant shades are the most opaegue shades. I personally loved the raspberry lip love the most in the collection. It's light colour may be difficult to see on dark pigmented lips. Though this new range is not waxy at all. It's light tint of colours are everyday wearable. It gives a good hint of colour to your everyday look. It gives a little something to a simple sober look. The logo on new lip balm is different from older once. It is visible in the picture I have put at the end of the review. So check that out for the new logo.

Pros n cons :
Pros : It is made with good quality plastic than before as its lid won't come off easily. So pop the lip balm in your bag or purse or sling or your clutch as you can see in the picture above. It's really moisturising now. It's colours this time are better so yays! for that. I loved the colours as they give light, subtle tinge of colour, that are juicy like the orange is like the rasna. If you get what I am saying ,that's the reason I loved it. The black currant (purple) colour gives extra brownie points to lakme. Lakme gives a good option of playful colour in lip balms and it actually works for you, earned it. Thumbs up for it.
Cons : It's not worth buying still as the previous lip love lip balms launched, even if you get moisturising balm and also with a tint still, but at the same price as before. It's not value for money.

> Few things that are particularly better now in lip love are first it's cover, secondly the shades that are suitable for dark skin tones or specifically for Indian skin tone, third it's doesn't just sit on your lips like wax , it is actually moisturising and i have chapped lips so I felt the way to go for moisturising.
>As I am not a fan of Lakme's all products, I loved this collection. I would say I like the formula that is moisturising, it is better than before. You can get better or same in less price. It's my views on the product. Do what you love and feels good. Cause what feels good makes you happy.
